·         Chicken Avocado - grilled chicken breast topped with avocado and a garlic cream sauce with chips or salad ($26.50)

·         Eggplant Parma - grilled eggplant topped with Napoli sauce and mozzarella cheese served with a side salad ($15.50)

·         Garlic Prawns - sautéed in garlic, finished in a cream sauce served on a bed of rice with salad ($26.50)

WHAT WE ATE...

Join The Oven Twist’s VIP club and you can enjoy special deals and eat for free on your birthday. I decided to have the ‘Tortellini Mushroom - sautéed mushrooms in garlic cream sauce, finished with a truffle oil drizzle ($19.90)’. The alluring smell of truffle oil instantly hit me when my pasta arrived. The sauce was lovely with the tortellini and mushrooms.

My dining companion chose the ‘Twisted Beef Burger - cheese, lettuce and caramelised onion, tomato relish and aioli in a brioche bun served with chips ($17.00)’. The patty contained a plentiful supply of herbs which created a wonderful homemade feel. The mountain of chips were also superb.

WHAT WE DRANK...

I picked the ‘Paris Tea – black tea, vanilla, caramel and currant ($3.80)’ made by Harney and Sons. An absolutely fabulous tea which I need to source for my home collection…
