WHAT’S ON THE MENU?

·         Salt and Pepper Calamari - floured in lemon pepper and lightly fried with tartare sauce and lemon ($13.50)

·         Satay Chicken - tender chicken pieces tossed in a rich Malaysian satay sauce of peanuts, soy, chilli, garlic, shrimp paste and served with Asian greens, bean shoots, fried shallots, coconut cream and jasmine rice ($24.90)

·         Beef Ragout Risotto - slow cooked pulled braised beef cheek, mushroom, braising stock, arborio rice and shaved parmesan ($25.90)

·         Club Sandwich with chips - triple layered with lettuce, tomato, grilled bacon, fried egg, chicken and mayonnaise ($19.90)

WHAT WE ATE...

I chose ‘The Veggie Burger with chips – grilled pumpkin and chickpea patty, cos lettuce, tomato, beetroot relish and cumin yoghurt, on a brioche bun ($19.50)’. The beetroot relish and cumin yoghurt added a wonderful flavour to the burger. I would happily order this burger again.

My dining companion decided to have ‘The Beef and Bacon Burger with chips – Angus beef patty, American high melt cheese, smoky long bacon rasher, French’s mustard, Groove’s BBQ sauce and mayo on a brioche bun ($21.50)’. This was also a yummy burger with the sauces elevating the burger.
