WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
·         Pan Fried Chilli Prawns - coconut rice topped with coriander ($26.00)
·         Pulled Pork Bun - on a brioche bun with coleslaw and BBQ sauce served with a side of chips ($23.00)
·         Vegetarian Lasagne - pumpkin, spinach, ricotta and parmesan served with a side salad ($25.00)
·         Flathead Fillets - beer battered flathead fillets served with chips, side salad, house-made tartare sauce and lemon ($27.00)

WHAT WE ATE...
The menu is quite limited for this busy cafĂ© which is part of a garden centre complex. I would definitely book ahead as you will not get a table on the weekend. I opted for the ‘Open Chicken Sandwich - chicken breast on organic grain bread with smashed avocado, cherry tomatoes, mixed lettuce and topped with sprouts ($18.00)’. The sandwich was mostly a pile of lettuce leaves. Not much chicken at all… There was definitely room for afternoon tea. However, the meagre chicken was succulent and was complemented by the creamy, smashed avocado.

My dining companion picked the ‘Open Salmon Sandwich - house smoked salmon, organic grain bread, confit cherry tomatoes, dill spread, pickled cucumber and rocket ($19.00)’. This sandwich was slightly better than the chicken, but again leaves cover little substance.

WHAT WE DRANK...
We both ordered lattes ($4.00)…
