I opted for
the ‘Falafel Bliss Bowl with quinoa, rocket, turmeric hummus, cherry tomatoes,
red cabbage, green tahini dressing with pita chips ($20.00)’. Sometimes these
healthy bowls at cafĂ©s can be too healthy. So many raw vegetables that you have a sore jaw from all that chewing… Well, this was the complete opposite!
It almost felt naughty as it was so delicious. The different sauces added
flavour and the pita chips were a perfect crunchy element to scoop up some of
that yummy hummus.
We started
with some lovely lattes ($4.20)...
If you have
been to Annoying Brother in Fitzroy North, then it’s time to check out its
sibling, My Other Brother. The café is hidden behind the Burke Road shops in the
Camberwell Market carpark. The service was extremely efficient with tables being
turned as soon as patrons finished. The café can be a bit loud inside when
busy, so outside is a great option when the weather is sunny.
