Blue Mini Cafe, Rosebud West



WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
·         Sardines in a Can – warm sardines with toasted rustic ciabatta, pickled onions, aged cheddar and cherry tomatoes ($16.00)
·         Breakfast Carbonara – linguini with spicy chorizo, wilted spinach and cherry tomatoes, shaved pecorino with fresh herbs, topped with a poached egg ($20.00)
·         Braised Beef Cheek with rich jus on a bed of warm blue cheese polenta mash with wilted spinach and crisp sweet potato chips ($26.00)
·         Golden Child – warm creamy turmeric breakfast risotto, topped with sweet almond pistachio dukkah and dried cranberries ($15.00)









WHAT WE ATE...
I chose the lovely ‘Salmon Carpaccio – layered smoked salmon served with cornichons, lemon, Danish feta, herbs and homemade traditional tartare with toasted sourdough ($18.00)’.


My dining companion decided to have the ‘Fish and Chip Box – old-style battered flathead fillets with a side of shoestring fries, crunchy veg slaw and homemade tartare ($25.00)’.


WHAT WE DRANK…
We both ordered lattes ($3.80) made with Boneo Road Roasters coffee…

Food = 3 spoonfuls of sugar

Drinks = 1 spoonful of sugar

Service = 2 spoonfuls of sugar
