WHAT’S ON THE MENU?

·         Mixed Berry Waffles – two Belgium waffles, mixed berry coulis, vanilla ice-cream ($12.95)

·         Benedict – poached free range eggs, ham, hollandaise, on an English muffin ($13.95)

·         Chicken and Mushroom Crepe – chicken, mushrooms, spring onion, in a cream sauce, wrapped in a light crepe. Served with chips and salad ($16.50)

·         Seafood Platter – deep-fried tempura fish, crumbed prawn cutlets, scallops and calamari. Served with chips and salad ($14.95)

WHAT WE ATE...

We often visit Café Navona for a light lunch. On this occasion I chose the ‘HCT Sandwich – ham, tasty cheese, tomato ($6.95)’, which I had toasted (extra $1.00). Their sandwiches are fabulous with extra wide, fresh bread.

My dining companion chose the ‘Chicken and Avocado Sandwich – grilled chicken, avocado, fresh spinach, tasty cheese, mayo ($8.95)’. He also added a side of chips (extra $2.50). Also, a yummy sandwich...

We both ordered lattes ($3.80) made with Griffiths Bros Coffee…
