WHAT’S ON THE MENU?

· Organic Vanilla Pancakes - Persian fairy floss, Canadian maple syrup, double cream ($14.90)

· Moroccan Harira soup - organic chickpeas, lentils, mild spices, labne, seeded toast ($11.90)

· Lamb Pizza – pulled lamb, garlic, roast capsicum, spinach, bocconcini, tzatziki ($16.50)

· Burek – filo pastry, spinach, ricotta, house salad, tomato relish ($13.90)

WHAT WE ATE...

The ideal place to dine at Kofi Beans is out the front under the trees. On Sunday afternoons, you can relax with a wine or coffee and listen to some live music. I chose the ‘Vegetarian Pizza – roast pumpkin, spinach, pesto, pine nuts, bocconcini ($13.50)’. This is my favourite dish at Kofi Beans. It’s healthy, light and tasty. The pumpkin and pesto combo is a winner, with a gorgeous base.

My dining companion chose the ‘Smashed Avocado – avocado, Persian feta, almond dukkah, micro herbs, sourdough toast, lemon, balsamic glaze ($16.50)’. Also a fabulous dish, with the added option of poached eggs if desired.
