WHAT'S ON THE MENU?

· Chipotle beef, mac and cheese, sweet potato waffle, spring onion ($20.00)

· Lemon meringue French toast, brioche, lemon curd, meringue, berries ($18.00)

· Mushroom tortellini, broccolini, fried capers, salsa verde, parmesan ($23.00)

· Granola, cinnamon and almond panna cotta, blueberry and peach ($16.00)

WHAT WE ATE...

We both chose sandwiches out of the glass cabinet. I went with the 'Tofu schnitzel, spinach, onion, tomato, vegan aioli and relish ($12.00)'. This substantial dish was a delightful vegan version of a chicken schnitzel sandwich. The crunch of the tofu schnitzel and the creaminess of the vegan aioli made a hearty vegan sandwich that even carnivores would love.

My dining companion picked the 'Smoked salmon, feta, corn salsa, chard and aioli ($12.00)'. Lovely flakes of smoked salmon melded with the luscious aioli and the sweet pops of corn. Another fabulous sandwich!
