WHAT WE ATE...
I opted for
the ‘Bacon and Egg Burger – two pieces of crispy bacon, fried egg, cheese,
tomato relish and avocado, served with a hash brown ($16.00)’. The bacon and egg
burger was massive with double bacon and double egg. This generous burger was
also supported by not one… but two hash browns! A very filling meal indeed!
My dining
companion chose the ‘Middle Eastern Burger – lamb spiced patty, tomato, baby
cos lettuce, haloumi cheese with mint aioli and chips ($18.00)’. The mint aioli
made a refreshing addition to the rich lamb patty, whilst the haloumi added
texture. It was a delightful version of a lamb burger.
WHAT WE DRANK…
We both
ordered a Latte ($4.00). The coffees were quite good with pretty latte art.
OVERALL…
I usually go
to Cocoa Moon for lunch when in Warrandyte, but on this occasion we thought we would try Now and
Not Yet which is just a few doors up. Now and Not Yet is a not-for-profit
social enterprise that uses all the money that they make to fund community
projects. The interior is a cool space to kick back in after a walk along the
Yarra. After your meal, you can enjoy the art in their attached creative space.
