WHAT WE ATE...

I decided to have the ‘Penny Focaccia – bacon, capsicum, baby spinach, avocado and cheese, served with fries ($10.90)’. The meals at The Puffing Billy Café are extremely generous and delicious. I always order this focaccia as it is heavenly with the roasted capsicum and creamy avocado. The mountain of fries is just as wonderful.

One of my dining companions picked the ‘Olinda Focaccia – ham, cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and olives, served with fries ($10.90)’. Another superb focaccia.

My other dining companion opted for the ‘Egg, Bacon and Cheese Toasted Sandwich ($6.50)’. This is not just your simple toasted sandwich. It has double fried eggs, layers of bacon and lots of luscious melted cheese.

WHAT WE DRANK...

I ordered a ‘T2 Melbourne Breakfast Tea ($3.50)’, which was delightful and came with an extra pot of hot water.
