WHAT’S ON THE MENU?

· Chia Seed Pudding – wild berry and coconut chia seed pudding with pumpkin seeds, crushed hazelnuts and kiwi fruit ($11.50) *gluten-free

· Lamb on Turkish Bread – warm Turkish bread, whipped feta, spicy harissa, baby spinach and roast lamb ($15.50)

· Grilled Peri Peri Chicken Burger – grilled, marinated peri peri chicken with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and grilled onion, on a toasted bun ($16.50)

· Smashed Avocado, with feta, on multigrain toast, quinoa, cherry tomatoes, and two poached eggs ($18.00)

WHAT WE ATE...

I opted for the ‘Mixed Berry Pancakes – stack of buttermilk pancakes, with mixed berries, mint, vanilla ice-cream ($14.50)’. The pancakes had an unusual texture but were delicious with the plumpest and freshest berries I’ve tried at a café.

One of my dining companions picked the ‘Brekky Burger – bacon, mushroom, chorizo, spinach, fried polenta, smoked relish and fried egg on brioche bun ($16.00)’. This was a yummy feast…

My other dining companion went with the ‘Dukkah with beetroot cured ocean trout and eggs – toasted English muffin, whipped feta, avocado, beetroot cured ocean trout, two poached eggs with pistachio dukkah ($18.00)’. This was another winning dish!
