WHAT WE ATE...
I decided to have the ‘Eggplant Parmigiana
– eggplant topped with a creamy bĂ©chamel, Napoli sauce and a parmesan crust,
served with beer battered chips and garden salad ($21.00)’. This dish was luscious
but the salad helped to cut back the richness. The chips were golden and
crunchy.
My dining companion chose the ‘Wagyu Beef Burger – beetroot relish,
aged cheddar, caramelised onion, tomato, baby cos lettuce, and aioli on a
brioche bun, served with beer battered chips ($23.50)’. This was a very
delicious burger that is up there with Melbourne’s best…
