WHAT'S ON THE MENU?

· Meatballs Risoni - veal and pork meatballs slow cooked in tomato and basil and served with buttered risoni pasta ($18.50)

· Eggs Frijoles - Spanish style beans with fried free range eggs and chorizo sausage, topped with grated manchego cheese with warm flat bread ($20.00)

· Rockin Hot Cake - ricotta hot cakes topped with lemon yuzu curd, coconut crisps, meringues and lemon verbena syrup ($19.50)

· Spinach Risotto - fresh spinach and parsley risotto with buffalo mozzarella, tomato and basil salad with a side of olive tapanade ($19.50)

WHAT WE ATE...

I opted for 'Vodka-cured Salmon - finely sliced, cured Atlantic salmon served with grated egg, agro dolce fennel, red radish, dill, chives and warm flat bread ($19.50)'. This dish was amazing! Everything melded together to create a scrumptious combination that perched nicely on the flatbread.

My dining companion decided to have the 'Deluxe Cheeseburger - wagyu beef patty with Monterey Jack cheese, tomato, lettuce, dijon mustard and tomato sauce, in a brioche bun with crunch fries ($18.00)'. The burger was flavoursome and the chips were crispy.

I ordered a Latte ($3.80) made with their own coffee blend...

My dining companion chose a Mocha ($4.50)...

You can find Young and Foolish downstairs at Brandon Park Shopping Centre. Take the lift down from the food court... They are also open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday.
