WHAT WE ATE...
It had been
a long time since I had eaten Pad Thai so I thought I would try Petaling
Street’s version. The ‘Pad Thai – Thai-style thin rice noodles with bean shoots,
prawn and crushed peanuts ($11.50)’ was very good considering the price. The noodles
were a little bit undercooked though.
My dining
companion opted for the ‘Sweet and Sour Pork with fried rice ($10.90)’. The pork
was tender and the dish contained lots of veggies.
WHAT WE DRANK…
We were
provided with some Chinese Tea…
OVERALL…
We were
wandering along Kingsway looking for somewhere new to try for dinner.
Eventually, we came upon Petaling Street which specialises in Malaysian hawker-style food. Petaling Street also has outlets in Clayton, Carnegie, Box Hill and
the CBD. The service was very efficient and the restaurant was spacious.
