The Honey Thief Bakery, Blackburn

My favourite part of moving to Blackburn is that I am now near The Honey Thief Bakery. The only problem is that when you arrive intending to purchase their freshly baked bread, you become mesmerised by their tantalising cakes and sweet pastries. Then of course you have to buy some of those to take home with you... There is some seating but the place is so popular you may struggle to obtain a table. Oh well, their delicious goodies are easy to transport home... if they last that long without someone gobbling them up!

WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
·        Steak and stout pie ($8.50)
·        Moroccan Chickpea and sweet potato pie ($8.50)
·        Pork and fennel sausage roll ($6.50)
·        Spinach and feta pie ($7.00)

WHAT WE ATE...
It was afternoon tea time so we all ordered coffee and cakes. All the cakes were fabulous! I chose the Berry Brioche ($4.00) which I thought was delightful with its buttery outer layer and its creamy filling. It was not overly sweet which is my ideal kind of cake.
