WHAT WE ATE...
I chose a
dish from the Chef’s Recommendations menu: ‘Crispy Seafood Curry - a Chuchi
Thai curry of delicious seasoning, crispy prawns, calamari, wild ginger, and
mixed vegetables ($28.00)’. The curry was absolutely delightful with crunchy
but tender calamari and a gorgeous sauce. The curries at Little Thai Princess
are some of the best tasting I have tried in Melbourne.
My dining
companion picked the ‘Massaman Beef Curry - an authentic Southern Thai aromatic
curry, served with a coconut based curry, potatoes and peanuts ($27.00)’. This
was another brilliant curry with the beef melting in your mouth. The curry also
had a wonderful flavour.
We also
ordered some Garlic Roti Bread ($5.80) and Jasmine Rice ($3.00 per person) …
WHAT WE DRANK…
We brought a
bottle of wine with us. The corkage was $4 per person.
OVERALL…
For our one
year anniversary, we celebrated at a local restaurant that is within walking
distance to our home. Little Thai Princess has been featured in the Good Food Guide
and specialises in Modern-Exotic Thai cuisine. The interior features dark wood
tables, plush seating and gold accents. A fabulous restaurant to go to when you
are seeking some lavish Thai fare.
