WHAT'S ON THE MENU?

·         Breakfast Burger - scrambled eggs with bacon and hash brown, in a brioche bun, served with fries ($17.00)

·         French Toast with bacon and maple syrup ($14.00)

·         Pumpkin Risotto - baked pumpkin, tomato, walnut, rocket, and buffalo mozzarella ($21.00) *gluten-free

·         Garlic Prawns - prawns cooked in white wine cream sauce, served with salad of the day and spinach wild rice ($24.00) *gluten-free

WHAT WE ATE...

I opted for the 'House made Beef Lasagne - layers of bolognese, bechamel, and pasta, served with fries and salad of the day ($17.00)'. The lasagne was okay but the meat was a bit fatty. The side salad was fabulous with lots of tasty ingredients. 

One of my dining companions chose the 'Smoked Salmon Sandwich with spread salmon rillette, smoked salmon, capers and rocket, served with salad of the day ($17.00)'. The bread on the sandwich was quite stale so the sandwich was rather dry...

Another dining companion picked the 'Ham, Cheese and Tomato Sandwich, served with salad of the day ($10.00)'. This was a yummy sandwich and I will probably order this next time I dine here. 

My other dining companion went with the 'Roast Chicken Sandwich with chicken breast, lettuce, tasty cheese, smashed avocado, and mayonnaise, served with salad of the day ($15.00)'. A generous serving of sliced chicken breast on fresh, white bread, made this sandwich delicious.

Arena has moved upstairs since the renovations at The Glen and has a stylish interior. Highchairs are available and the tables outside have plenty of room for your pram.

Food = 2 spoonfuls of sugar

Drinks = 3 spoonfuls of sugar
