WHAT'S ON THE MENU?

· Mexican Eggs - creamy, scrambled eggs, tossed with jalapenos, fresh capscium, chorizo, Spanish onion on toast, and a dollop of smashed avocado ($17.30)

· Tuna Patties served with Greek salad and balsamic dressing ($11.50)

· Beetroot with Spinach Salad with chorizo, toasted walnuts and balsamic dressing ($9.75)

· Croque Monsieur ($9.40)

WHAT WE ATE...

I picked the 'Pesto Scrambled Eggs - pesto scrambled egg with pesto, served with avocado and toast ($13.00)'. A scrumptious mountain of scrambled eggs was enhanced with just the right amount of pesto. It was piled high on two large pieces of toast and the fan of avocado was perfectly ripe.

My dining companion opted for the 'Salmon Beetroot Roll' out of the cabinet. There was no price but they charged us $13.00, which seemed a bit pricey for such a small roll. For some reason, they made the once visually appealing roll into a pancake by toasting and flattening it. The toasting made all the ingredients very wet and thus quite unappetising...
