WHAT'S ON THE MENU?

·         Pork Bun - BBQ pulled pork in a brioche bun with apple and coleslaw salad, served with chips and aioli ($19.00)

·         Buttermilk Pancakes with vanilla ice-cream and your choice of maple syrup or mixed berry compote ($16.00)

·         Breakfast Bruschetta - smashed avocado, thyme buttered mushrooms, Persian feta, topped with balsamic glaze ($16.00)

·         Cabbage Salad - mix of red and white cabbage tossed with apples and red capsicum, in a vinaigrette dressing, served with a side of quinoa brown rice ($18.00)

WHAT WE ATE...

I chose the 'Free Range Eggs scrambled on toasted sourdough ($10.00)'. I also ordered a side of sauteed spinach ($3.00). It was a very generous portion of both the spinach and the eggs. The sourdough was nicely toasted so that it was still chewable. 

My dining companion opted for the 'Corn Fritters - two crisp corn fritters with double smoked bacon, sweet corn puree and rocket salad ($16.00)'. This meal was a little underwhelming with two rather small, bland fritters and the sweet corn puree was missing. A creamy element such as sour cream would have enhanced the dish.

I ordered a latte ($4.00) made with St Ali Coffee...

OVERALL…

Food = 2 spoonfuls of sugar

Drinks = 3 spoonfuls of sugar
