Hangar Cafe, Chadstone

·         Mixed Berry Pancakes, served with white chocolate sauce and vanilla ice-cream ($13.90)
·         Eggs Green – two slices of sourdough covered in smashed avocado, with two poached eggs and grilled asparagus, drizzled with balsamic vinegar ($16.90)
·         Melbourne Burger – Black Angus patty, melted cheese, butter lettuce, tomato, onion, chutney, served with chips ($17.90)
·         Fish and Chips – beer battered flathead served with chips, salad, tartare sauce, and lemon wedge ($19.90)

I decided to have the ‘French Toast – soaked egg bread, pan-fried and served with maple syrup ($13.90)’. The French Toast tasted pretty good but could have been enhanced with some other elements such as berries. However, on the day I wanted something plain and simple and the dish did the job.

My dining companion chose the ‘Hangar Big Breaky – eggs of your choice on toast, served with sausage, bacon, baked beans, mushroom, tomato and hash brown ($17.90)’. The meal was a large feast that filled you up.
