Eden's Backyard, Carlton
If Instagramming
photos of food is your thing, then you will be in heaven (or Eden in this
case...) at Eden’s Backyard. I was invited to sample the menu at this newly
open cafe, which is located north of the Melbourne Museum. Eden’s Backyard is
away from the hustle and bustle and the Astroturf and hanging ferns create a lush
oasis from the surrounding housing estates. The menu has a Malaysian influence
which makes it more interesting than your average café fare. Warning! When you
show your friends the photos of your gorgeously plated food from Eden’s
Backyard, they may drool with desire and
become very envious... It’s okay though. Just tell them to catch the 96 tram up
from the city with their iPhones and DSLR’s handy...
