We both
decided to have the Burger Special that was advertised on the board out the
front. A burger, chips and orange juice for only $12.50! We had a choice of
either a beef, chicken or vegetarian burger. I opted for the vegetarian burger
whilst my dining companion chose the beef burger. Both our burgers were
brilliant! The burgers had lovely brioche buns and the coleslaw was a yummy
addition. The chips were also excellent.

Afterwards
we ordered a cake as all the cakes at Rox are made in house and look very
tempting... We picked the ‘Cherry Ripe Slice ($5.00)’ which was scrumptious!
WHAT WE DRANK...
We started
our lunch with a couple of lattes ($3.50).
Then we
sipped on our freshly squeezed orange juices…
OVERALL…
We were
visiting the Salvos op shop at Kew and stumbled upon Rox Café and Bar. We thought we would pop in for a bite to eat and found that the café had a very
relaxed vibe as well as fantastic service. There is a courtyard out the back
for when the weather warms up too. Rox is also open for dinner on Friday and
Saturday which we will have to try sometime.
