WHAT WE ATE...
I decided to
have the ‘Soup of the day ($9.50)’ as it was a cold and miserable day. The soup
was pumpkin soup which is one of my favourites. I received a very generous bowl
of yummy soup with a swirl of cream and some toast for dipping. The soup had a
sweet, rich flavour.
My dining
companion ordered the ‘Homemade sausage roll served with salad ($6.50)’. The
golden sausage roll had a tasty filling and the accompanying side salad was
great.
My other
dining companions chose the ‘Egg, bacon and cheese muffin ($5.00)’. This was a
nice, light option.
WHAT WE DRANK...
I ordered
some ‘English Breakfast Tea ($3.70)’. They also offer a pot of tea for two for
$5.
My dining
companions ordered lattes and cappuccinos ($3.70) made with Bean Ground & Drunk
organic coffee.
OVERALL…
I often go
to the Middleborough Latte Café for a drink. This time we thought we would have
something to eat. The interior is nice and cosy and it is quite popular with
the locals. Many of the items on the menu can be made vegetarian or gluten-free
and the staff are very friendly.
