WHAT WE ATE...
The menu at Grey
& Bliss has lots of variety with dishes that scream flavour. I opted for
the ‘Banana and ricotta pancakes with fresh berries, double cream, grilled
banana, maple and toasted walnuts ($16.00)’. I loved how the golden,
caramelised bananas were complemented by the luscious cream and the extremely
generous serve of walnut halves. A very scrumptious interpretation of pancakes…
My dining
companion picked the ‘Wagyu beef burger on toasted brioche bun with bacon,
tomato, lettuce, pickles, cheddar cheese, and chips ($19.00)’. This burger also
came with sauces to dip the chips in. The burger was delicious with crispy
bacon.
WHAT WE DRANK…
My latte ($3.70)
was excellent.
OVERALL…
The first
thing you notice when entering Grey & Bliss is the overhead lighting made
from repurposed bits of ephemera. The café turns into Blissful Nights on Thursday,
Friday and Saturday nights where kids get to eat for free from the children’s
menu. The staff are keen to help and love to engage in conversation with
diners. This is a cafĂ© that I am keen to visit again…
