WHAT’S ON THE MENU?

·         Salmon Cakes – red salmon, zucchini, spring onion, carrot, and red capsicum, crumbed and baked, served with salad ($15.90)

·         Beef and Chilli Bean Filo – triangle pastry filled with a mixture of red kidney beans, light sour cream, onion, tomato paste and mild chilli paste, served with salad and relish ($11.50)

·         Baked Potato – baked potato topped with chopped bacon, spring onion, red capsicum, tasty cheese and sour cream served with salad ($15.90)

·         Grilled Veggie Stack – eggplant, pumpkin, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms and tasty cheese melted on a bed of spinach, drizzled with our special dressing ($15.90)

WHAT WE ATE...

I opted for the ‘Korma Curry Vegetarian Pie – sautéed onion, ginger, garlic and curry spices, with vegetables and finished in lime juice and mint, served with chips ($10.90)’. What a delicious pie! The filling had a gorgeous flavour where you could really taste the spices. The mountain of chips and the delightful relish were just icing on the cake...  

My dining companion picked the ‘Beef and Burgundy Pie – chunky beef marinated in rich burgundy wine, served with chips and relish ($10.90)’. Another wonderful creation with tender beef and a rich gravy.

My other dining companion chose the ‘Chicken Tandoori served in a wrap with cos lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, cucumber and yoghurt ($14.90)’. The wrap was full of fresh ingredients which cooled the spicy chicken. A winner again…

WHAT WE DRANK…

My 'Latte ($3.60)’ made with Beraldo Coffee was very nice.

OVERALL…

It was New Year’s Day which can make it difficult to find a café that is open. We were in Warrandyte and spied people in Food For All Seasons... Bingo! The menu is massive so there should be something for everyone. The interior is rustic with exposed brick walls and timber finishes. Out the front is an amazing dining area which is shaded from the sun.
