Upcoming Event: Paris to Provence
Bonjour my lovely readers! This weekend Paris to Provence returns to the magnificent Como House and Gardens for its 6th year... Well, I might be a bit biased as I volunteer at Como every week! Anyway, Paris to Provence is Melbourne’s ultimate French festival where over three days the National Trust's iconic Como House is turned into a lively French village.
This year’s
entertainment includes ballet and art classes for children, painting and art
classes for adults, a French photography contest, magic shows and a French
bulldog fancy dress party alongside all the usual activities offered each
year.
The
festival also features live music, a children's garden, workshops in
the Grand Ballroom, Chef master-classes, cultural demonstrations, escargot
eating race, croissant tossing and Notre Dame 3D
puzzle reconstructions, prizes, roaming performers, a curated French open
air market, Petanque and the ever popular Cafe Boulevard with all the food
and wine you love from every region of France, both sweet and savoury.
Now let’s
talk food... This year you can sample some gastronomic delights from Yarra Valley Dairy, Shifty Chévre, Professeur Crêpe, Milk the Cow, Caramelicious, Brasserie Bread, Monsieur Truffe, and Agathé Pâtisserie, and much more.
