Street Organics, Malvern
We all
have that friend that has chosen to go vegan or paleo at the moment which can
make it difficult when deciding on where to have lunch... Well, Street Organics
in Malvern could be the answer. I had received some more vouchers from Zomato which
included Street Organics. They cater for those on paleo, vegan, FODMAP and/or
gluten-free diets. Now this may not be relevant to you... but the food is
really delightful so everyone is happy! They also have some meat dishes for
those that are feeling carnivorous. Afterwards, you can browse products to take
home and make your own healthy, organic meals. They also do raw vegan high teas
($69 per person) upstairs, which is fun and healthy at the same time!

WHAT WE ATE...
The menu
has a range of meals that are very affordable. I decided to have the ‘Vegan
curry served with brown rice ($14.50)’. It was sort of like a vegan risotto
minus the calories. The brown rice was perfectly cooked and it tasted yummy and
was very filling. The vibrant basil leaves added some greenery and zing.

My dining
companion opted for the ‘Tuna wrap with hommus and beetroot, carrot and salad
leaves ($10.95)’. The wrap was jam-packed full of fresh and flavoursome
ingredients. The hommus and soy mayonnaise united the contents of the wrap
wonderfully.
We also
ordered this delicious blueberry cake. It was so moist and scrumptious!
WHAT WE DRANK...
I picked
the ‘Iced Chocolate – ice, coconut milk ice cream, cacao, rapadura sugar and
your choice of milk, topped with vegan dark chocolate shards ($9.50)’. I chose
regular milk. This was perfect for me as it wasn’t too sweet and sickly. It
tasted like a lamington due to the coconut ice cream which was a fantastic alternative
to regular iced chocolates.
