WHAT WE ATE...

I picked the 'French Toast with berry compote, banana, bacon, caramelised walnuts, vanilla mascarpone and caramel maple ($19.90)'. The generous serving of French toast had the perfect balance of sweet and salty, with the berry compote adding some acidity. A luscious dish...

One of my dining companions chose the 'Hash Stack with poached eggs, caramelised onion and bacon, topped with house made hollandaise sauce ($18.90)'. The heavenly hollandaise brought this wonderful dish together. The egg, asparagus and bacon combination made this a successful dish.

My other dining companion decided to have the 'Spanish Baked Eggs with chorizo sausage, smoked Napoli sauce, ratatouille veggies, broccolini, shaved parmesan and basil pesto ($18.90)'. The was also a yummy dish with its lingering, smoky flavours...
