WHAT WE ATE...
We ordered some curries...
‘Beef Korma - mild beef prepared with
almond and cashew nut sauce ($19.95)’
‘Pumpkin Masala - diced pumpkin pieces
cooked with special spices ($16.95)’
‘Malai Kofta - potato and cottage cheese
balls mixed with dry fruits and cooked in almond sauce ($16.95)’
‘Rogan Josh - authentic lamb curry from
Kashmir, cooked in onion and tomato, finished with fennel ($19.95)’
We also ordered some ‘Pulao Rice - basmati
rice cooked with cumin seeds and finished with saffron ($4.50)’
Plus, two serves of the ‘Garlic Naan - fine
plain flour bread finished with garlic ($3.50)’.
Out of the curries we picked, our standout
favourite was the Pumpkin Masala which had a big hit of spices and tender,
sweet pumpkin. Unfortunately, the meat in the other curries was a bit tough.
