WHAT WE ATE...
We both chose something from the
Specials. I decided to have the ‘French Toast – banana, strawberries, maple,
ginger crumble and double cream ($16.50)’. The golden French toast was
smothered in luscious cream which went perfectly with the ginger crumble. I
would grill the bananas to take this lovely dish to the next level.
My dining companion opted for the ‘Baked
Eggs – homemade baked beans with roast capsicum, spinach, feta, eggs and
toasted Turkish bread ($17.50)’. The baked eggs had lots of flavour with nicely
cooked eggs.
WHAT WE DRANK...
We both
ordered lattes ($3.80) made with Wide Open Road’s Shady Lane blend…
