WHAT'S ON THE MENU…
· Crushed Avocado with feta and heirloom tomatoes on toasted rye bread ($16.50)
· Pumpkin and Ricotta Cannelloni – confit tomatoes, rocket, pepitas and shaved parmesan ($28.00)
· Lemon and Thyme Chicken Salad – bacon, heirloom tomatoes, croutons, maple citrus dressing ($28.00)
· Aged eye fillet of beef with kipfler potatoes, spring greens and a red wine shallot jus ($35.00)
WHAT WE ATE...
The menu has
a great variety of dishes, ranging from pizzas and pastas to burgers and
seafood. I chose the vegetarian burger. The ‘Sweet Potato and Quinoa Burger – house
made burger, lettuce, tomato, beetroot relish and garlic mayo ($23.00)’ had a
scrumptious patty and fresh fillings. That beetroot relish was amazing!
WHAT WE DRANK…
We ordered
some lattes ($4.00) made with Grinders Organic Coffee…
OVERALL…
Spend the morning drifting along the Yarra River in a rowboat, enjoying the gorgeous bushland backdrop. Afterwards, head over to the iconic Studley Park Boathouse Cafe to indulge in a delicious meal and a glass of vino on the deck, overlooking the river.
