WHAT WE ATE...
The menu
features heirloom vegetables and fruits grown organically on site at
Heronswood. I chose the ‘Pumpkin, carrot, kale and semolina tart, served with
garden greens ($24.00)’.
My dining
companion picked the ‘Grazing Plate – today’s soup, tamarillo relish, aged
cheddar, Heronswood egg and bread ($24.00)’.
For dessert,
we shared the ‘Sticky Date Chocolate Pudding with salted caramel sauce and
ice-cream ($13.00)’.
