WHAT WE ATE...
The Green at
St. Columbs has a very enticing sandwich selection which all come with a side
of rocket and pickled fennel salad. I chose the ‘Tasmanian smoked salmon sandwich
with cornichons, whipped mascarpone, crispy shallots and snow pea tendrils
($14.00)’. The addition of the crispy shallots created a wonderful crunch that
complemented the silky elements of the sandwich. I was completely dusted in
flour after eating the sandwich but the house baked ciabatta was delicious. The
super-fresh additional salad was an example of how fantastic a side salad can
be.
WHAT WE DRANK...
My latte ($3.70)
using Code Black Coffee Blend 3056 was marvellous.
